New Delhi: Former Indian team batsman Praveen Amre has been appointed assistant coach of IPL team Delhi Capitals.
Praveen was earlier associated with the team as the Talent Scout chief from 2014-19. He has also been the coach of the Mumbai Ranji team and has played 11 Tests and 37 ODIs for India.
Praveen said, “I am excited to be associated with Delhi Capitals once again. The team reached the final for the first time in the 2020 season. I am very excited to be working with coach Ricky Ponting and the players once again. “
Delhi CEO Dheeraj Malhotra said, “Our team is a team of potential players of the Indian team and this process also applies to the coaching staff. Praveen has given players like Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw to the team and their experience will be useful once again. ”
